The best quality wood chips can be offered if the time of preparation of the goods falls on the summer period. To ensure the stability and quality of wood chips supplies, we use warehouses in various locations in Latvia, where approximately 75% of the total required amount of wood chips for heating is stored before each heating season. The usual technical indicators of wood chips for heating or biofuels are humidity in the range of 30-52%, mineral content below 3% and fraction or piece size 2mm-6mm. The fuel value is in the range from 2.1 to 3.5 MWh per ton. According to the needs of the consumer, the technical properties can be adjusted to a small extent by mixing different tree species or wood chips of different moisture and size. We also produce technological wood chips for various industrial sectors for the production of boards and wood pellets. By prior arrangement, we can also offer FSC certified wood chips and sawdust or Biofuel. We sell wood chips outside Latvia in accordance with Incoterms 2010 FOB delivery terms.

The coefficient used to determine the ster can range from 0.15 to 0.45, depending on the diameter of the wood and the height of the brush or branch pile.
