AS Stora Enso Latvia supports the procurement of FSC® certified timber.

To make deliveries without an FSC® statement, the following documentation of origin must first be provided:

• A copy of the felling certificate, verified in the Latbio and Ozols databases;
• Supply chain (purchase contracts, etc.) to the forest owner;
• Logging work performance questionnaire;
• Self-declaration (signed);
• Supplier Code of Conduct (signed).

Timber will not be accepted without the above documentation.

Quality requirements:

• Freshly sawn, free from rot, blueing, insect damage and metal inclusions
• Curvature – permissible up to 1% of the log length
• Branches pruned flat, no larger than 5cm in diameter
• Maximum diameter at thickest point 50.00 cm under bark
• Surface 0.1 m
