Technical requirements

Specification

Nominal length 2.70 m (full log length from 2.73 m and longer. Desired maximum length up to 2.95 m.)

The minimum diameter of the thin end of the plywood blocks under the bark is 20 cm, the maximum diameter of the plywood blocks at the thick end is 60 cm .

The volume of plywood assortments is measured by SIA "VMF Latvia" using group measurement with photo processing technology (Photo WEB), in accordance with LVS 82:2020.

Required documents

When applying : Information about the timber owner, Copy of the felling certificate.

In preparation for the transaction : Copies of documents certifying the acquisition of ownership of the timber, if the timber is not acquired in your own possession.

A transaction justification document for each load. However, if several loads of plywood blocks are shipped from the same warehouse within a few days, a joint invoice may be issued for the entire transaction amount.

Self-declaration by the timber seller is required. This applies to plywood sellers who are not FSC certified and do not sell plywood with any of the certification statuses.

As part of the birch plywood purchasing process, upon receipt of the timber origin documents, the absence of protected habitats will be checked in the nature data management system "Oak" based on the property's cadastral number. Wood from habitat territories is not purchased!
