Required documents for cargo delivery/acceptance
- For natural persons – an identity document or power of attorney, if the authorized person is acting;
- A copy of the felling certificate or an equivalent document certifying the ownership and origin of the timber;
- Copies of documents certifying the acquisition of ownership of timber, if the timber is not acquired in one's own possession;
- A waybill for each load.

Surveying
Independent measurement and quality assessment of the delivered birch plywood logs is carried out by a professional measurement organization SIA “VMF Latvia” ( www.vmf.lv ), using uniform basic principles and combining the best experience in wood measurement, assessment and accounting in the Baltic Sea region. SIA “VMF LATVIA” is accredited and is competent to perform round timber measurement in accordance with the LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 744 “Regulations on the Accounting of Trees and Round Timber” in the regulated area: round timber measurement (LVS 82:2003).
After measuring the delivered birch plywood blocks, SIA “VMF LATVIA” prepares a measurement and quality assessment report (testing report), on the basis of which SIA “Stiga RM” applies the prices specified in the price list, issues an invoice and makes payment.
